Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion
- Must be courteous, polite and efficient at all times
- Preparation of vacant units for occupancy including coordination of third party vendors
- Estimate time and extent of repairs
- Perform routine preventive maintenance
- Prepare vacant apartments for new residents
- Maintain material and supply inventory
- Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary
- Available to respond to emergency calls after hours
Qualifications:
- Ability to use computer software programs
- Experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Ability and skills in using maintenance tools and equipment such as drills, saws, voltage meters, drain cleaner, snow blowers, etc.
- HVAC, electrical and plumbing knowledge
- EPA Certification preferred
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and blue prints
- Ability to apply common sense
- Ability to adjust work load and shift priorities when required
- Reliable transportation
- Possess small tools
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Physically capable of lifting at least 50 pounds
- Possess a valid driver’s license and insurance
- Deadline and detail-oriented
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 – $25.00 per hour
